In Acts 13-14, we see the church act as the sending agent it was called to be. At great cost, this new young church becomes the model for every other church which would follow. 

Today we focus on Acts 11, Peters obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Good News reaching the gentiles.

God always wanted to be God for humanity and their descendants, as He knew the real enemy since Adam, was the evil powers which they were not aware of.

Looking at Acts 5:17-42 and how God works in the most difficult situations to continue to spread the good news. 

Moving on in Acts, we discover the outworking of devotion to apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking bread and prayer in the restoration and healing of a man allow him to meet God and worship him.

As we learn all that Jesus teaches his disciples through the Spirit of God, we discover the invitation is to draw near to God, to know his comfort and his love, and to be a part of his kingdom.

Jesus continues to do and teach his disciples through the book of Acts, but we are the disciples he is teaching. The lesson continues: what is the Spirit teaching us today in 2021. 

This sermon looks at the importance and value of church, scripture shows how we can be active participants and also encourage others to be involved.

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the anniversary of Jesus Church. Today we use this opportunity to commission our church for the new era ahead.
